Questioneers are a widely used method of collecting data for this type of research. Although most studies at this Buddhist University are related to the affects of meditaion practice, questioneers have also been used in relation to dietary practices in other contexts. This study, being conducted by an undergraduate and four year raw foodist, is to evaluate the effctiveness of such methods for studying the health and spiritual benefits of long term raw foodism. The main body of this survey has been designed specifically for this study to evaluate the diet and health practices of individuals and their resulting level of consciousness. Two surveys, the RAND Health Survey 1.0 and the Quality of Life Scale are also included, as they have been used in other studies evaluating short term raw food populations, meditation practitioners, and normal populations, and so provide existing data with which to compare our scores.
